Wrc 9 vs wrc 101/10/2024 It has the best driving and tire model and FFB outside of RBR NGP6, and playing both as much as I do, the mechanics of driving a rally car are close enough between them. Though, they are not terrible when driving cockpit or bonnet cam. Unfortunately, sound is kind of weak across all of them. If patience wins and you take the time, it is really really good. Sometimes they get fixed, sometimes not.Īlso, FFB takes a bit to get set properly. Bugs that have existed since 8 still crop up in 10. In 10 the default are very good, but again, tuning can help pull out extra tenths and such. 9 the defaults are drivable, but you can be faster with tuning. In 8, you almost have to tune the car for it to be controllable, especially diff tuning. You can adjust spring rates, camber, toe, anti roll bars, differentials, gear ratios, ride height, etc. Tuning between all are similar, just the values are different. FFB is superb with amazing feeling of grip. Gravel is better and more what you would expect if you watch WRC. Tarmac is the best I have felt and the most natural compared to what I feel in my own cars when I am on the track. FFB saw some nice improvements as well.ġ0 finally found the right balance in the physics. The cars are more predictable which they should be, and have more weight. To be honest I feel like they almost went to far with making the cars oversteer. Tarmac was pretty decent though.ĩ greatly improved the physics, especially with how the cars turn in. The cars have tons of understeer and feel almost to light. Physics have improved each iteration, as well as FFB.Ĩ was the first game in this series with the revised physics model.
